Brancaia ILATRAIA 2014
We have been in Maremma since 1998. The present age of the vines, new varietals and our
current expertise have opened up new possibilities for us. Based on this we have
reconsidered the initial blend of ILATRAIA - the wine is now even more elegant than before,
composed by grape varietals that ripen optimally every year in the Maremma even without
irrigation. ILATRAIA is an intense, elegant and terrorir-typical wine.
Blend: 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot, 20%

Temperature of fermentation: 28° C
Must contact: Up to 25 days
Maturing: 1/2 in new barriques, 1/2 in used barriques
Time of maturing: 18 months in barriques at least 12 months in the
bottle

Formats: 0.375L, 0.75L, 1.5L, 3.0L, 6.0L
First year of production: 2002
Perfect with: Food with balanced, intense flavours, meat and
game dishes - fried or stewed - for poultry such
as pigeon or pheasant.
