Produced from native varieties and old vineyards, between 70 and 80 years old, in the “lajidos” in Criação Velha.
The vineyards have a very low yield, which means an increased quality.
A meticulous selection of the grapes. Grapes are quickly transported in small boxes to the “adega” and processed in a vertical press with the use of inertization. The wine undergoes a pre-fermentative maceration and is then fermented in refrigerated egg-shaped cement tanks with subsequent agening.
This is a numbered edition of 2792 bottles.
