80% pinot noir and 20% chardonnay, all from the 2008 vintage and from Verzenay): Pale gold. Lemon zest, white peach, ginger and honeysuckle on the highly perfumed nose. Juicy citrus and bitter pit and orchard fruit flavors are firmed by dusty minerals, which add refreshing lift and cut. Dry, mineral-tinged and pure, finishing with impressive clarity and minerality.0
